What kind of wood is used for the sticks?
Generally shagbark hickory is our standardly used wood but each stick description will tell you the type of wood.
Where is the wood sourced from?
Our woods mostly come from Iowa and Missouri, but we source it from all of the American Midwest.
Does the stick collection damage the forests?
No, our sticks are collected by sustainably harvesting branches or new tree growth on our land or forest similar to Christmas tree farms.
How long does it take for you to ship the sticks?
The Shagbark Shillelagh team strives to have your sticks shipped out within 5 working days. If there are more orders than average we will send you a warning with the recent estimates.
